21- France national team jersey

Laurent Blanc

1998 World Cup – France

Laurent Blanc is the only player who came through the ranks and signed his first professional contract at Montpellier HSC to have won the World Cup. This victory came with the French national team on July 12, 1998. After eight seasons in Montpellier, he went on to have a brilliant international career, both at club level and with Les Bleus. His inclusion in the Louis Nicollin collection was a must. A World Cup winner in 1998, he missed the final at the Stade de France against Brazil due to suspension. But this jersey has a story. It's the one he wore during the round of 16 match in Lens against Paraguay, where Laurent Blanc scored the golden goal in extra time that sent a nation into raptures and secured France's place in the quarterfinals.
