1986 World Cup – Mexico
Peter Shilton is a legend. He holds the all-time record for appearances with the England national team (125), represented his country for 20 years, and participated in three World Cups from 1982 to 1990. During the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, his team faced Argentina in the quarter-finals (1-2). Diego Maradona scored two goals against him that have become legendary in football history: "the Hand of God" and "the Goal of the Century."
