2 - Trophy

This trophy was presented to José Nasazzi, the captain of the Uruguayan national team. This defender was considered one of the best players in the world in his time. Nicknamed El Gran Mariscal (the Great Marshal), he won two gold medals at the 1924 and 1928 Olympic Games and lifted the first World Cup on home soil in 1930.
